Safari Day 1: Nairobi – Great Rift Valley – Maasai Mara Game Reserve (230 km 4to 5 hours)

Safari Day 1: On arrival at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, you will be met by our tour leader who will brief and welcome you into the country and brief you on your entire safari answering any of your questions that you may be having. You will then be introduced to your guide. Depart for your drive to Masai Mara with a brief stop at an escapement overlooking the Great Rift Valley with great views and photo taking. You will be arriving at Masai Mara in the afternoon in time for lunch then later proceed for your evening game drive. You will have an opportunity to spot Elephants, buffaloes, lions, giraffes, wildebeests, zebras, and different species of gazelles, birds, cheetah, and leopard among many other animals.

Safari Day 2: Maasai Mara Full day Game viewing

Full-Day Game Drive

After breakfast, you will leave for a full-day game drive in Maasai Mara National Park. This is home to over 3 million large mammals. Our experienced tour guide/ driver will take you in search of the famous Big 5 among other animals: Lion, Leopard, Buffalo, Elephant, Rhino, Hyena, Cheetah, Jackal, Warthog, Giraffe, Zebra, Antelope wildebeest, and various bird species. Picnic lunch will be served at Mara River as you witness the famous migration.

Visit a Masai Village*

An optional visit to a Masai village can be arranged after the game drive. Masai warriors are famously known as the proud nomadic tribe whose legendary prowess in battle and single-handed acts of bravery in fights with the wild animals are known across the world. This visit gives a good tour of Masai culture and you will be welcomed with a sing and dance presentation, which forms part of their daily lives and sacred rituals.

Safari Day 3: Maasai Mara – Lake Nakuru (215 km – 5 hours)

After breakfast, you will depart for Lake Nakuru with a game drive en-route. Picnic lunch will be served. You will arrive in Lake Nakuru early in the evening in time for dinner. Accommodation will be at Camp / Lodge.

Lake Nakuru is a renowned paradise for Bird Watchers with its high population of birds, the most famous being the thousands of flamingos which form a very beautiful deep pink coloration around the edges of the lakeshore. Apart from these flamingos, there are also over 400 species of birds visiting the lake. Animals can also be sighted in the park including Rothschild’s Giraffe, Black and White Rhino, and Waterbuck, Reedbuck, Lion, Buffalo, Leopard, Baboon, and several other species of plains game.

Safari Day 4: Lake Nakuru – Nairobi (167 km – 3 hours)

After breakfast, you will once again embark on a game drive in Lake Nakuru and feast your eyes with sightings of flamingos, often referred to as the “Pink Lake”. If you’re lucky, you might also see small games such as Water Buck, Impala, Rhino, and Buffalo within the garden’s surroundings.

After lunch, you will depart for Nairobi and arrive around 4-5 pm late afternoon depending on traffic conditions. You will be dropped at any of our drop-off points most convenient to you.
